Privacy Policy

This page explains, at an operational level, how LegalBai may collect, use, store, and disclose information submitted through this website, its requester portal, and its paid consultation workflows.

1. What This Notice Covers

This notice applies to information processed through the public LegalBai website, the preliminary intake form, the requester portal, paid consultation scheduling, payment review, and approved consultation delivery workflows currently supported by this application.

2. Information We May Collect

Depending on how you use the service, LegalBai may process:

Contact and account data: such as your email address, name, and any profile details you choose to save for later use.

Intake information: the matter category, urgency, narrative context, and related responses you submit for preliminary assessment.

Scheduling and consultation data: requested duration, consultation mode, selected slot, request status, and related portal activity.

Payment-review data: payment method selection, submitted reference number, amount snapshots, approval or rejection notes, and related administrative review context.

Consultation delivery data: approved meeting details such as a join link, phone instructions, confirmation PIN, or related delivery instructions when a consultation is approved.

3. How We Use Information

LegalBai may use this information to:

assess and respond to a preliminary legal inquiry, manage access to the portal, operate scheduling and payment-review workflows, issue approved consultation details, send service-related notices, protect the service from abuse, and maintain records reasonably necessary for operational, legal, or dispute-resolution purposes.

4. Meeting and Provider Integrations

If a paid consultation is approved, LegalBai may generate or record consultation delivery details using manual administrative entry or a configured provider workflow. Depending on operational configuration, this may involve meeting or calendar systems such as Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, or a voice-call workflow.

LegalBai's own portal and approval communications remain the main requester-facing record of approved consultation details in this application.

5. Sharing and Disclosure

Information may be disclosed internally, to service providers supporting the app's operation, or when reasonably required for legal compliance, recordkeeping, security, fraud prevention, or dispute handling.

6. Retention

Information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the intake and consultation workflows, preserve scheduling, payment, and other operational records, respond to support, legal, or dispute-related issues, and meet applicable recordkeeping or legal obligations. Some portal records may also be subject to deletion-request or legal-hold workflows available in the application.

7. Security and Access

LegalBai uses application-level access controls, verification flows, and administrative review processes to reduce unauthorized access. No online system can be promised as perfectly secure, so users should avoid submitting unnecessary secrets or materials beyond what the current workflow reasonably requires.

8. Your Choices and Requests

Where appropriate, you may request access, correction, or deletion of certain information, or use the portal features that are made available for account or record-management requests. Some requests may be delayed or limited where retention is required for operational, legal, security, or dispute reasons.

9. Updates to This Notice

LegalBai may revise this privacy notice as the website, portal, or consultation workflows evolve. The version posted here is the public operational notice for the current deployment stage.

10. Contact

Questions or requests concerning this privacy notice may be directed to LegalBai through the contact path made available on this website. If a dedicated privacy contact channel is later designated, this notice may be updated accordingly.
