Terms of Use

These terms govern use of the LegalBai website, preliminary legal-intake flow, requester portal, and paid consultation scheduling features currently available through this standalone application.

1. Scope of This Site

LegalBai operates this site as a public-facing information and intake platform. It allows visitors to learn about the service, submit a preliminary legal intake, access a requester portal, and, where available, request and pay for a scheduled consultation.

These terms apply to browsing the site, submitting information through the intake flow, using the requester portal, and participating in the paid consultation scheduling and payment-review workflow.

2. Preliminary Intake Only

The intake flow is designed to help LegalBai understand the general nature of your concern and determine whether a consultation or further follow-up may be appropriate. Submitting an intake does not guarantee acceptance of any matter, ongoing availability, or a particular legal outcome.

3. No Automatic Attorney-Client Relationship

Browsing this website, submitting intake information, requesting a consultation, or paying for a consultation slot does not by itself create an attorney-client relationship for broader legal representation. Any formal professional engagement requires separate acceptance by LegalBai and any additional scope, fee, or engagement terms that may be required for that representation.

A paid consultation, once approved and confirmed, is limited to the specific scheduled consultation service reflected in the platform and related communications.

4. Consultation Scheduling and Payment Review

If LegalBai makes paid consultation scheduling available through this site, consultation requests are subject to availability, internal review, and payment verification. A slot is not finally confirmed merely because you selected a time or submitted payment proof.

Consultation approval occurs only after the platform and the administrator complete the applicable review steps. Until that approval occurs, LegalBai may reject, decline, or release a request if payment cannot be verified, availability is no longer valid, or the request cannot be accepted.

5. Meeting and Delivery Details

Approved consultations may be fulfilled through manual or automated delivery details, including video meeting links or voice-call instructions. The confirmed delivery details shown in the requester portal or approval communication are the operational source of truth for the scheduled consultation.

LegalBai may change the operational delivery method or provide updated joining instructions if needed for scheduling, technical, or administrative reasons.

6. Your Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate contact information, truthful payment reference information, and only the information reasonably necessary for preliminary assessment or scheduling. You should not use this platform to submit unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, or intentionally misleading material.

Unless specifically requested, avoid sending highly sensitive materials, original evidentiary records, or urgent deadline-dependent documents through the preliminary intake form.

7. Portal Access and Communications

Some parts of the service rely on email verification, portal access, and operational notifications. You are responsible for using an email address you control and for protecting access to your own inbox and devices.

LegalBai may send service-related communications connected to intake, scheduling, payment review, consultation approval, rejection, or account-access events.

8. Changes to the Site or Terms

LegalBai may update these terms, site features, scheduling rules, or operational processes as the service evolves. The current version posted on this site controls public use going forward. Additional terms may apply to specific engagements or services.

9. Contact

If you have questions about these terms, please contact LegalBai using the contact path or intake flow made available on this site. If you are already a requester in the portal, use the account or consultation context shown there so the inquiry can be matched correctly.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

10.1 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.

10.2 Amicable Settlement

In the event of any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of the LegalBai website, intake flow, consultation scheduling, payment-submission process, or related services, the parties agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute through good-faith negotiations for a period of at least thirty (30) days before resorting to judicial proceedings.

10.3 Exclusive Venue

Should the parties fail to reach an amicable settlement, any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be instituted exclusively in the appropriate courts of Cebu City, Philippines, to the exclusion of all other courts of equal or competent jurisdiction.
